Community Coach Child & Youth Coaching Clinic

April 30th - May 2nd

Moose Jaw

We are looking to develop players within the four components of the game.

Technical: The ability to perform a soccer task without pressure, How to dribble, pass, shoot, head and trap a ball.

Tactical: Decisions the player makes with or without the ball. Do I attack with speed in a 1 vs.1 am I supporting the first attacker?

Psychological: Good attitude, strong work ethic, do I keep my composure under pressure?

Fitness: Am I match fit, can I continue to keep up with the play in both the attack and defence?

Coaching can be a fun and rewarding experience and each child deserves a certified coach. MJSA would encourage all interested coaches to attend the Community Coach Child and Youth clinics. The clinic will increase your knowledge of the sport and you become certified through the Canadian Soccer Association Community Coach Program. Please see the 2010 Outdoor brochure for more information

City League: Many of our coaches here in Moose Jaw are a parent volunteer, who for some this is their first experience at coaching while others may have played the game while growing up. Our City league coaches make up the majority of our coaches within our association and without their hours of work and patience Moose Jaw Soccer would not be able to run as many of the programs as we do.
